What you need
- A Claude plan that supports connectors.
- A SocialRainbow account with active publishing access. The Rainbow plan includes a seven-day trial that requires a payment method.
- At least one supported social account you are authorized to manage.
- A direct, public HTTPS media URL when a destination requires an image or video.
Supported destinations currently include Instagram professional accounts, Facebook Pages, Threads, LinkedIn profiles and organization Pages, X, YouTube, and TikTok. Current tool results—not this page—are authoritative for live limits and provider readiness.

Connect SocialRainbow to Claude
- 1Open connector settings
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors. Before the directory listing is available, choose Add custom connector.
- 2Add the endpoint
Name the connector SocialRainbow and enter https://app.socialrainbow.app/mcp/claude.
- 3Authenticate
Sign in to SocialRainbow and approve the connection. Claude receives an OAuth access token for your SocialRainbow workspace, never your provider tokens.
- 4Connect destinations
Ask Claude to show connected accounts. Choose a provider and finish its authorization page if the account you need is missing.
- 5Start with a read-only check
Ask Claude to list your connected accounts and supported platforms before preparing a real publication.

Example prompts
Check accounts“Show my connected social accounts and tell me which ones are ready.”
Prepare safely“Adapt this announcement for LinkedIn and Threads, validate both versions, and show me the exact preview. Do not publish yet.”
Schedule“Schedule the approved versions for tomorrow at 9:30 AM in Asia/Jerusalem. Show the local time and UTC offset before you do it.”
Inspect“Show my scheduled and recently published posts, including failures that need attention.”
Change a post“Open the scheduled LinkedIn post about the launch and show it to me before we reschedule or cancel it.”
04
How approval works
SocialRainbow validates the exact accounts, content, links, media, platform options, time, and timezone before a publication write. Validation returns a short-lived confirmation token bound to that preview. Claude must show the preview and obtain your explicit approval before publishing or scheduling.
If any destination, text, follow-up, media item, option, or time changes, SocialRainbow requires validation and confirmation again.
Disconnect, reschedule, and cancel operations also require the exact affected account or post to be shown and confirmed. Cancelling prevents a pending dispatch; it does not delete content that is already live on a social network.
05
Authentication and data handling
- Workspace identity comes only from the verified SocialRainbow OAuth token.
- Social-provider access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are not returned to Claude.
- SocialRainbow processes the content, destination IDs, scheduling details, and media URLs needed to complete your request.
- Checkout and billing changes happen on SocialRainbow’s account site, not through connector tools.
- See the complete Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Troubleshooting
Claude cannot authenticate
Remove the custom connector, add the exact production MCP URL again, and complete the SocialRainbow sign-in in the same browser. If the authorization page reports a scope error, send the full error text to support.
A social account is missing
Ask Claude to list connected accounts, start the matching provider connection, and finish authorization on the provider page. Then list accounts again. Use the same SocialRainbow login you used when connecting Claude.
Publishing access is inactive
Open your SocialRainbow account page to review the subscription state. Scheduled posts remain visible but publishing is paused while access is inactive.
A post fails validation
Read the per-destination errors without removing the destination silently. Common causes include missing Instagram media, an unsupported format, an unavailable TikTok privacy option, or a text limit.
A scheduled post failed
Ask Claude for the full post details. The result identifies provider errors and accounts that need reconnection. Correct the reported issue, then prepare and confirm a new publication if needed.
